Guy Bourassa

Guy J. Bourassa – Chief Education Technology Officer

Mr. Bourassa began his tenure as Chief Information Officer / Chief Education Technology Officer for the Enfield Public Schools on July 1, 2012.  Prior to moving over to the central office administration, Mr. Bourassa was the K-12 Computer Technology Department Chairman for the Enfield Public Schools for the last nineteen years. Mr. Bourassa was a teacher in Enfield for sixteen years, teaching computers, mathematics, social science and sixth grade. He has been an adjunct instructor of mathematics at Asnuntuck Community College since 1990 and a computer instructor at the University of Hartford.

Mr. Bourassa earned a Masters of Education degree in Computer Technology from Westfield State College and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Central Connecticut State College in Social Sciences. He is active in the Enfield community assisting with both high schools safe graduation auctions and Literacy Volunteers.

A life-long Enfield resident, Mr. Bourassa is a product of the Enfield Public Schools and lives in town with his wife Jill. They have two daughters: Stefanie and Katie.
