2023 CMEA Eastern Regional All State Music Festival
The office of the Superintendent is pleased to announce that four Enfield High School Choral and Instrumental students performed at the Connecticut Music Educators Association All-State Music Festival on Saturday April 1, 2023 at the Hartford Marriott Downtown and the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT. Each of the Enfield musicians were chosen for this prestigious honor through a competitive adjudication process held this year across the state at four different regional area levels. Special thanks to their parents, family, friends, music teachers, faculty and administrators who have supported all aspects of their musical education in order to achieve this high level of excellence.

These All-State students participated in three days of rehearsals directed by nationally recognized conductors during the CMEA Clinic/Convention. Their amazing performance for over one thousand attendees on Saturday April 1st at the Hartford Convention Center brought this extraordinary event to a close.
Since its inception in 1932, the Connecticut Music Educators Association (CMEA) has been dedicated to providing programs and activities for professional educators, students and future music educators striving to enhance the quality of music education for all children. The music faculty at Enfield High School are members of this educational organization and support its role for high quality music instruction and experiences.
