EHS Empty Bowls Fundraiser

PRESS RELEASE:  April 22, 2022

Superintendent’s Office

6th Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser

The Office of the Superintendent is pleased to announce that the 6th Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser was successful this year in raising $1,000 for the Enfield Food Shelf.  Empty Bowls is an annual fundraiser made possible through collaborative efforts between the Culinary and Visual Arts programs at Enfield High School.  Each year, ceramic bowls created by students and staff of the Ceramics department, soups handcrafted by the Culinary department, and an Empty Bowls cookbook written and illustrated by Culinary and Commercial Art students are sold at the Annual Arts Festival.  All proceeds from the fundraiser are donated to the Enfield Food Shelf and since the fundraisers inaugural year, Empty Bowls has raised almost $10,000 for the Enfield Food Shelf.  A special thanks to Chef Joshua Ogrodowski and his Advanced Culinary students, Michelle Nassau and her Empty Bowls club, and Amber Pascoe and her Commercial Art students for their hours of dedication to their local community.

Please join us by congratulating everyone that participated in this successful annual fundraiser that benefits the Enfield Community.
