Early Release Day


Subject: Early Release Day for Staff Professional Development
Date: September 25, 2023

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Thank you all for a great opening! I hope this message continues to find you well. We would like to inform you about our first scheduled early release day for your Enfield Public Schools dedicated to staff professional development. This early release day including lunch, will take place on Wednesday and will impact our regular school schedule.

On this day, students will be dismissed from school earlier than usual to allow our dedicated staff and educators the time and opportunity to engage in important professional development activities. These activities are designed to enhance their teaching skills, stay updated on educational best practices, and improve the overall learning experience for your child.

Here are the key details for the early release day:

Date: September 27th

Early Release Times:

         Integrated Pre-K AM:      10:55

         Integrated Pre-K PM:      Cancelled

         STEAM Academy:            12:30

         Head Start Part:              11:30

         Head Start Extended:     12:30

         Head Start Full:               12:30

         Primary (K-2:                   1:50

         Intermediate (3-5):         1:35

         Middle School:                1:00

         High School:                    12:20

         Eagle Academy:              12:00

         ETLA:                               12:00

 

Buses: Buses will be available for early release, following the adjusted schedule.

Please make appropriate arrangements for your child's supervision during this early release.

We understand that changes to the school schedule can be challenging for families, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and support in our efforts to provide high-quality education for your child. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the early release day or the professional development activities, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s school office.
