Directions for spam folders.
Dear Parents,
We hope this email finds you well and that you are enjoying the school year so far. We are writing to inform you that we have recently sent out some important emails regarding your child's progress, upcoming events, and other school-related matters. However, we have noticed that some of these emails may not have reached your inbox and may have been filtered into your spam or junk folder instead.
This can happen for various reasons, such as the use of certain words or phrases, the email address or domain name, or the content of the email. Sometimes, email servers may mistakenly flag legitimate emails as spam or junk and prevent them from reaching your inbox.
To ensure that you receive all our future emails and don't miss out on any important information, we kindly ask you to follow these steps:
- Check your spam or junk folder regularly and look for any emails from us. If you find any, mark them as "not spam" or "not junk" and move them to your inbox. This will help your email server learn that our emails are safe and relevant to you.
- Add our email address to your contact list or address book. This will tell your email server that you trust us and want to receive our emails. You can do this by opening one of our emails and clicking on the sender's name or email address. Then, select "add to contacts" or "add to address book" from the menu.
- Adjust your email settings or preferences to allow emails from enfieldschools.org. This will prevent your email server from blocking or filtering our emails based on the domain name. You can do this by going to your email account settings or preferences and looking for an option to manage your spam or junk filters. Then, add our domain name (enfieldschools.org) to the list of trusted or allowed senders.
If you need more detailed instructions on how to do any of these steps, you can search for "[your email provider name] + how to retrieve emails from spam or junk folder" on your favorite search engine. For example, if you use Gmail, you can search for "Gmail + how to retrieve emails from spam or junk folder". You will find helpful articles and videos that will guide you through the process.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and we hope this assists you in resolving this issue.
